I dropped Carbonite because the product is terrible, so the stock was eventually going to crash. It was incredibly difficult to use to restore a crashed disk, only salvaged a few files and took hours upon hours to sort through those after the restore. But happy to see the poor financial results accelerated by mixing business with political activism..

This is truly a heartwarming story. Some time ago, after hearing Carbonite advertised on Rush's program, I signed up for a year. Near the end of that year the Fluke story emerged, so I let the subscription to Carbonite expire. Later I received a phone call from a lady at Carbonite who was encouraging me to sign up again. I asked, "Didn't your company drop support for Rush after he spoke about some woman wanting me to pay for her sexual escapades with my tax money?" Long pause. "That was our CEO's decision." she answered. I said "Tell him I don't want anything more to do with his company." I'm happy to hear of another liberal institution taking a nose dive.

When Carbonite dropped Rush Limbaugh for partisan political reasons, I dropped Carbonite. Do they think they can get away with this sort of leftie manipulation - and there will be no consequences? I'm GLAD their stock is down 20%. This is the real world teaching Friend a lesson. And on the subject of Fluke's bloody birth control, who the hell does she think she is, expecting others to pay for HER personal sexual exploits! What a bloody nerve!! Go pay for your OWN devices!!! How DARE you expect ME to pay for your stuff!! What an over-entitled wretch! So you thought the Obama would supply your stuff but when you total up the damage inflicted by Obama on the USA, the real cost of your birth control devices is several hundred billion dollars a pill!

My experience with Carbonite's customer service was...fecal... to say the least. I was having upload problems; my service call was answered by some off-the-street moron who was rude, childish and condescending.

I dropped Carbonite like a hot lump of coal.
