It is a matter of who can best beat Obama, nothing more nothing less and yes, I have done the research and listened to all of them. My choice would have been J. C. Watts BUT, he is not running last I looked.

Romney is a Car Salesman RINO that will wilt like a delicate flower in the summer heat when Obama hits him with Racism charges for attacking the record of the first "White-Negro" President.

You need to figure out that for The Democrats it is strictly a brutal ends and means game.This will be the nastiest last two months (September and October) of a Presidential Race this Country has ever seen!!

K, If Ron had a foreign policy, he might have a chance, but he clearly is not of this world. The US spends 1% of our budget on foreign aid. The bulk of that goes to aid US citizens in other countries. I didn't understand our foreign support until I traveled to about 13 countries. I used to feel like many Ron supporters until I understood way we take care of our people all over the world.
Sarah Palin is the person we need to be putting in the W.House. If not her we need Newt. I lived through the times he was in the House, and he is the reason we got welfare reform. He is the one that made Clinton look good. You better believe that!

A friend of mine gave me a book to read several years ago about the Skull and Bones Society, the Builderburghs and other secret societies. The book also said that both Bush's, Clinton, John Kerry, and others were groomed to be in the White House. The elite that want the NWO are the same ones that started the Fed. Reserve. This was just a ponsi scheme to tyake our money through the IRS. I believbe that at this late date (because we weren't paying attention) That God is the only one that can change the course we are headed in. Also wanted to say that I read on one of my web sites that Obama might be the son of Malcolm X. It would make more since that he is. He looks just like him, and Malcom X had ties to powerfull people is Saudia Ariba and some other Middle Eact Countries. They have the money to have pulled this off.

I do know that most of our elected officials are part of the NWO, or they wouldn't be voting for the bills that are taking our rights away. I think it is time for all the people that loves this country and the freedoms we have, to move to Texas or another large red state, and succeed from the union.

Yes, I read your link in the Trayvon case and this sheds new light from what I had seen on Faux News yesterday. Glad you picked up on it. This just further illustrates one of the biggest issues in our media culture of the disinformation tactics. How many are aware of what you now know? Unfortunately, we can expect the Sharpton crowd to treat this in similar fashion as the birth certificate fraud, being the truth would simply put these charlatans out of business.

I too hope your wife "finds time" to read Brainwash. It is a well written piece and highlights many of the problems we face today. Probably the biggest impact Gourley's information offers is that it teaches us to view things in a different light other than the intended purpose, which is much to our benefit.

This is huge since it clearly shows Zimmerman was attacked rather viciously and eye witness account is against the Tryvon. Now we know why Zimmerman was not arrested. It angers me, how the race baiting leftist news media always goes against reasonable journalistic prudence in order to get out the story first. To be honest, I know very little about the Trayvon case, except what little I've seen from the progaganda media. The New American website and magazine, where I gather most of my news, has yet to post any information on this incident as yet. Though upon hearing of such events as these, I'm reminded of former Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel who stated: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Having that tool to draw speculation from in what could possibly arise, I also look at the timing and don't seriously consider it a major event that could affect the upcoming elections. The American people, too often bombarded with so much information on a daily basis, trying to draw on specific events that have occured a month or more prior are often soon forgotten. I'm not saying this incident is insignificant, though I see it leading more towards the gun control battlefield than anything that could be effective as an election talking point.

Class warfare has always been the objectives of the demagogues that you speak of and the tools of the elitists who plot this New World Order. You might be interested in researching John Dewey and Edward L. Bernays as they were the driving force during the 20th century in gaining mass population control in the art of brainwashing. Alan Gourley wrote a small pamplet that is published online titled "Brainwash, you can easily find and well worth the read.

In closing, no, I don't believe you are imagining things. You display critical thinking abilities that are essential in this day and age to detect deception. Keep it up! Personally, the only thing I ever consider as valid coming from the boob-tube are the sports scores, everything else must be verified.

Yes, I drink some (lots of) wine. Prefer the Merlot and Cabernet over the Chablis and Chardonnay though those are equally welcome to my pallet. I, back a few years ago, made (created) wine with some friends. It was a good bonding experience as well as educational.

Your profession is very interesting to me since I am in IT myself. My degree is BS in MIS. Been working in the field since early 1980’s and I love technology. I am not a programmer though I have taken the Oracle and Basic languages back in a day. My focus has been mostly management of information and I have done well in the field. Teaching may be my next stage, maybe at a level to get young troubled kids interested in CAD / CAM and IT in general. It is very interesting field and always advancing by leaps and bounds. I have done DHCP, DNS, and IPX/SPX administration.

I love technology and love helping newbies understand the basics. It is rewarding to watch an adult or a teenager who has little exposure, when they see some of the power they can have at their fingertips. It can lead to a career for or a resume enhancer, once they realize how easy using the available technology can be for them.

On another more important note, I want to discuss with you, the Trayvon Williams situation since it looks like the fanners of the flames, Al pointless Sharpton, Louis the lost Farrakhan, Jessie the Hijacker Jackson and the New Black Panthers are up to their hi jinx trying to get the racial tensions to an explosive level. No doubt in my mind, the puppet master is B.H.O. I am not waiting to see. I think we need to be very cognizant of what is going on now leading up to the election. There are very troubling signs and this may be a lead up to the eruption B.H.O. wants to move forward his plan for a “Utopian” society. (Ameritopia)…

Am I imagining things or are you feeling this too? What are your thoughts?

Appreciate that, no, I don't mind if you choose to follow me. Though on Friday nights, I often crack open a bottle of wine and tell myself not to engage the forums for the evening! :)

No PhD, but I am a college professor in Advanced Technologies, a fancy phrase that looks good on resumes but simply means I teach college level computer software and operating system courses. I have spent a number of years in the data management field though my programming skills have faded considerably of late. If you don't write syntax on a daily basis, you lose those skills, just like any foreign language. I often tell my wife I'm coming down with CRS disease ... can't remember sh__!

Your explanation for the inability to respond to certain posts is very plausible. That would explain it.

Have enjoyed the discussion here as well ... thank you for hanging in with me as I know I can be long-winded at times.

Thanks for hanging in with me on this discussion. I realize now, why you were irritated by my insistence on changing your mind on the vote point. Given your well explained reasons for your position, I fully understand why you refuse to vote for Romney if he wins the nomination.
We live in very troubled times. There is much confusion mostly due to lack of knowledge and the loss of morals by many in our society. The divisive nature of the current POTUS is troubling and potentially destructive by design. I hope and pray enough voters will realize what is going on and work to change politics through their votes in favor of keeping the Republic and the Constitution intact. I realize this is not going to happen overnight. Maybe some awakening is near and that is what we need to wake up those who are lost, blind, and weak. I am pessimistic though and believe we are close to the end of the United States as we know and have enjoyed the freedoms thereof.

I used to think Rush Limbaugh was real as well. But if you look at it, the only thing Limbaugh has ever done is stir hatred between Democrats and Republicans, he's never once mentioned any form of solution except for American's to vote Republican, and all our troubles will be over.

Either George Bush was a great President or Rush Limbaugh is an over paid idiot.

Excellent article! Romney can and Will defeat Obama. Romney is the candidate feared by Obama and Soros. Word has it that they've been having panic attacks at the thought of Romney winning. MITT ROMNEY was Governor of Massachusetts (where I was born). Can you imagine a Republican Governor with a State Legislature of 200 (and only 29 were Republicans.) Now, that is a long road to hoe! You can be certain that Romney means what he says. I thought I was a Conservative until I heard Santorum speak. I think I am a Moderate, because I know I am not, and don't want to be like Santorum. Rush, please explain to Santorum the difference between Federalism shoving a mandate down the throats of states vs. states having the authority to put in their own health plans. My sister lives in Massachusetts, and she selected her own plan...and loves it! As for Gingrich, he is an egomaniac. He said if he were in a law firm, he would be the senior partner, and Santorum would be the junior partner. Tell Santorum to talk about not having been re-elected for the Senate by his constituents, instead of hammering away at the Health Plan of Massachusetts that had to be written and approved by the State Legislature (democrats).

For some reason, I'm not able to respond to some of your posts. One post in specific is your question: Answer this, are you a conservative or a libertarian? I actually would have thought you would know this, but to satisfy your curiosity I'm a Constitutionalist though a member of no political party. I used to be a long-time card carrying member of the Republican party having never voted for a Democrat ever, but I gave up on them during George H. W. Bush's term and his New World Order rants.

I am also a long standing member of the John Birch Society having attended my first meeting in the 60s during Barry Goldwater's campaign. The JBS is not what they've been brutally maligned and labeled as by the liberal media, they are merely an educational organization standing for Family and Freedom. When Hillary Clinton made famous her Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy charges, she was speaking directly to the JBS, who significantly impacted the House Impeachment procedures, though we were sorely dissappointed when they focused their attention on Monica Lewinsky instead of the Chinagate military technology transfers in exchange for political campaign funds ... a treasonous offense.

I totally understand your position as I once walked in your shoes myself. One thing I would like to caution you about is the Term Limits issue. We've always had the power of term limits simply with our voting rights, but the twist in this movement would require a change to our Constitution, in other words, an amendment process. The ominous danger in this is that it could well prompt a Constitutional Convention, something we would never wish to bring about. This has occured only once in our history back in 1787 when we dropped the Articles of Confederation and adopted our new Constitution. Article V states:

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress.

This would scrap our founders creation and implement who knows what from the rubble and chaos that would emerge. There are no rules laid out in this process, and given that our own Congress Critters don't even abide by the current law, you can expect the same results in a Con-Con. It would be the ultimate nightmare and the final nail in the coffin to what few liberties remain!

You can trust me on this one, we don't want any part of it! I don't believe in term limits at any level, if we have a good public servant in office, why can't we keep him? If we have a tyrannt, vote him out. It's as simple as that.

Now I like your post! I watched Alan Keys during his run for president and like him for his conservative values and his ability to articulate his message. The Liberal media did him in just as they did for Herman Cain and any other black Conservative wanting to be a Republican president.

I understand your position relative to your core values. I have been a Conservative Republican all of my life. I have core beliefs and a wish for better choices when it comes to elections. Unfortunately, we don’t have term limits, which would probably change the landscape drastically for Senate and Congress. We need to rid our government of the good ole boy network and the only way is term limits. This will never happen unless we surfs rise up en mass and demand forcefully, if needed, that term limits be enacted. At least this would be a start to get government back in the control of the people.

Your stand on your core values is enviable and I do not disparage you for having a strong position or reasoning on your vote. Sorry I came across strongly with my position that we need to vote for the better of the two evils. Though I do not like much of Romney’s past, if Obama were to be vetted as much as Romney I’m sure there would be a much larger difference between the two choices. Like I said, I do not like the fact that Romney is likely going to win the nomination. Santorum might be more conservative but, he is establishment, Gingrich is smart but, he is establishment. Like you said, our choices are bad.

If I knew there was a grass roots initiative to write in a candidate that had a chance to win I would join the movement. Unfortunately, there is no movement and there is no candidate that so far has been able to create that excitement we need to get the movement going.

This is far, far from what America is about ... about as far as Nietzsche is from Roy Moore's granite foundation of revealed moral law. Seeing how Hitler (also a National Socialist eugenicist statist) moved toward dictatorship as a natural result of the sadist, sodomizing, nihlilist Mr. N, it is little wonder we are moving the same way, despite our "compassionate conservative" pre-approved candidates ... which includes Rick Santorum, the point man under Bush to get charities hooked to the government trough through "Faith-Based Initiatives." I learned we were being "Neoconned" from Ron Paul's speech on the floor of the House many years ago, and his interview with John Whitehead of The Rutherford Institute ("Oldspeak" column). No politician is qualified for public office, folks. It is up to us to insure sensible, real people get elected. Oh I agree ... multiculturalism is here to stay, no denying it. But if I were a betting man, I'd say America is toast within 5 years simply due to our socialistic nature and government dependency mentality that will collapse the US dollar and invoke martial law. Another Middle East war will obviously shorten my prediction, and given the long history of our warmongering nature, who knows?

In former CIA Analyst Chalmers Johnson's book; Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic, he would call me overly optimistic in my calculation as he believes that we will become a military dictatorship before the end of this year!
