They were born in the 13-Colonies during time of British rule prior to US independence -- which was "grandfathered" in. BTW, each of those mentioned had two parents born in 13-Colonies (which still comes under that "grandfathering")!

The Bible contains many instances of allegory used to explain spiritual truths or to foreshadow later events. The clearest examples of allegory in Scripture are the parables of Jesus. Interestingly, sometimes significant historical events, which appear at first glance to contain no deeper meaning, are interpreted allegorically later to teach an important lesson. One instance of this is Galatians 4, where Paul interprets the story of Abraham, Hagar, and Sarah as an allegory for the Old and New Covenants. Paul takes actual, historical people (Abraham, Hagar, and Sarah) and uses them as symbols for the Law of Moses (the Old Covenant) and the freedom of Christ (the New Covenant).

We gain a deeper understanding of God’s truth through these stories. Other examples of biblical allegory, as a literary form, include the vision of the dragon and the woman in Revelation 12:1–6; the story of the eagles and the vine in Ezekiel 17; and many of the proverbs, especially those written in emblematic parallelism.

Allegories have been used to indirectly express unpopular or controversial ideas, to critique politics, and to rebuke those in power. The Bible was many things in its representation and form. A literal text, not really. Certainly a large propaganda tool for the time and a means to speak out against the Roman authority at the time. The Book of Revelation, its obscure and extravagant imagery has led to a wide variety of Christian interpretations: historicist interpretations see in Revelation a broad view of history; preterist interpretations treat Revelation as mostly referring to the events of the apostolic era (1st century), or, at the latest, the fall of the Roman Empire.

If you are taking a survey, I surely believe the bible to be literal.
The only exception to that would be the allegories spoken by Jesus Christ, such as the prodigal son. That these teachings were allegories is very apparent, otherwise I believe every jot and tittle!

There has been a TON of evidence that the birth certificate, and much of the information contained in it is not credible. I won't even attempt to go over all of them, but it is patently obvious that the certificate is a fake.
And, where are all the other records about Barry? His Social Security Number is obviously a fraud. His real estate deal in Chicago is obviously crooked. Where are his travel papers from his trip to Africa? Where are his college records and transcripts. How come no one knew him while he was in college - you would think more than a few people would come forward and say "I went to college with the President of the United States" or "Yes, I used to see him on campus", or "I took a class with him" or "I saw him in the cafeteria/bookstore/registrar's office?
How did he attend a racist "christian" church for years and years and never hear a sermon?

This guy has spent/had more money spent hiding his background than anyone in history!

He would be more believable if he said he caught a 250 pound native cutthroat trout in the Hudson River with a cane pole and a bent safety pin!

The truth is out there. But, American politicians have figured out that at least 50% of the voters will believe anything they put out there. The real problem is the stupidity of the American voter. I know, the truth hurts and close to half the population here is so mentally/intellectually and morally corrupted they are incapable of discerning the truth. That's the REAL problem.

Wouldn't it be funny if Obama ended up in prison for the crime of falsifying his place of birth, a crime he would have committed before he became president? Barack Obama spent 8 years deliberately trying to destroy the economy of the United States, and deliberately bringing in millions of illegal aliens, not because there were jobs waiting for them but because they would vote democrat, even if they did so illegally. Barack Obama is a traitor to his country, and putting him in prison would be the least society could do to gain retribution. With any luck, he would die in prison.

And yet history and experience should tell us greatly otherwise! Absolute power corrupts absolutely! Given enough time that is.How many times do you hear "will of the people" spill from their lips ? And when it is truly the "will" espoused by the people, it goes ignored and is dismissed.. GOP representatives once threw out the question in a town hall setting"What is the most important or major issue of address?" Tell us and we will see it done! They didn't like the answer. It was to legalize cannabis overwhelmingly. Oops!

I am sure many Russians dislike Putin because he violated their election rules and assumed an illegal third term through a totally rigged election. And now attempting to manipulate ours as well. So why again do we trust what they have to say again? And Pravda was known to also be a propaganda arm too. One of Putin 's allies has threatened openly to elect Trump or face nuclear war if we don't! So you would rather they take us over without firing a shot by disarming or nullifying NATO and allowing them to be unchecked while hacking our elections and primaries, right? One parent of US citizenship, doesn't really matter place of birth as long as that criteria is validated. And IS! McCain would have been ineligible as well. He wasn't born in the states, but it was a US territory. That still makes him eligible. Go read your history and the Constitution. Many individuals were not , but it didn't make them ineligible either.

I do and know firsthand what kind of person he is and what he has cost our state with all of his scandals, investigations, rights violations, and misuse and abuse of funds and his office. But I see why he and Trump are so simpatico. The don't know when to keep their mouths shut! And everything that applies to us seems to not for them. Arpaio is looking to go down finally this election. Enough finally woke up and his allies abandoned him as well. Then hopefully prosecution and maybe more!

A "true" American? You mean like Trump and his tax returns? It's tradition to release them and he is the only one to have not since it began. And his lies and contradictions regarding them certainly raises concern. I love the fact that everyone is suddenly an expert in this field! Even though it requires a degree and experience as a document forensics expert to actually matter, not assumption, bias, or opinion as a determination.
