schools also did not have the same levies against truancy. the amount of guns in the US has also skyrocketed in the past few decades as well.

businesses got along fine for decades without chips and badges as well. but now they have implemented them. is that for nothing?

my wife was a teacher. i spent many a day helping her at the school after work, and many a meal with her and her coworkers (including the principal). i can promise you that they spend zero brain effort on control. that principal couldn't have cared less about 'control'. what she cared about was the fact that her funding got cut if she didn't have enough kids who showed up to school. the other principal i know cares about the fact that his school gets an automatic failing grade if 95% of his students don't take the state issued standardized tests (i.e. are at least present for the test).

the way around this is to push the ticket or fine onto the parent and/or student. i'm all for this. but, the general public isn't game for this, because the general public is composed of a majority of bad parents.

You're missing the point.. this is about tracking, I wore an ID badge in high school with no problems at all. Though if they put a tracking device into my ID badge, I would tear it up and throw it in their faces. It's unconstitutional and only for money.

It seems to be extreme to expel a student because she does not want to wear a tracking chip. One the positive note, as a fellow Christian myself, personally I doubt that the existing form of the RFID chip is really the "Mark of the beast" (at least not the present form anyways). I suppose it could be a predecessor to the mark of the beast for all I know, but it seems like the actual mark of the beast system is more synomonous with the end time scenario and is not supposed to appear until the days of the tribulation (probably when the new world order system is officially implemented an the and the Antichrist is revealed, whoever he is). Last I checked, the world is not in the tribulation phase yet as far as I can tell, plus where is the Antichrist? Last I checked, he has not appeared nor revealed yet, so it seems like the asb cards with the rfid chips should be spiritually safe to use for now (plus according to the bible, the actual mark of the beast will be something that is implanted in the right hand or the forehead, not on an id card). However, I could probably see where the girl is coming from on this. I know personally I am not sure if I would like the idea of someone I may or may not know tracking my every move, that would be a bit creepy in my book. Plus what if I did something they did not like? For example, what if I (hypothetically from a student perspective) went to a pub with my family where alcohol can be served (don't worry I am 30 years old now), the school might think I was drinking alcohol (like wine or beer), even if I did not drink. Also, if you are home sick and your parents take you to the doctor or to run errands with them. Would the school think I would be faking my ilness then (hypothetically)? Also, I would be nervous about combining implementing big brother policies in schools where they also have the zero tolerence policies too (especially where the so called school to prision pipeline seems to be evident), because then that could easily be a recipe for disaster because then, theoretically nobody would be safe from getting suspended, expelled or referred to law enforcement, and students would probably start thinking they are living in a totalitarian style police state (where they have to do everything they are told and anyone who "steps out of line" is suddenly subject to suspensions, expusions or even referrals to law enforcement). I don't think America is ready to go down that path at this time I don't think (and we probably won't go down that path without creating unrest either)..

I don't know of a job in the country that doesn't require it's employees to wear ID's. So she might as well just learn to accept it now.

Great you need an ID to fly on an airplane, to drive an automobile. Now they want to make sure your a student enrolled in their school system. I guess the only thing that you dont need an ID to prove who you are is when you vote.

That's what much of the secessions are about...30 something states now have filed petitions to secede, and what do those others do that have no clue? They have petitions going to the White House to deport those who have signed those petitions to secede. Amazing, isn't it? How some people can just spit away their freedoms, all in the name of what? More benefits? Brainwashing? Defiance? I think that's some of it. Complete ignorance probably takes the cake. Yes, some of the media have sold out, and it's amazing, if that's true of Soros' history, that he would be such a huge partaker in controlling the US. He has given tons of money to further Obama's agenda, to the point where one wonders if it's not Soros' agenda and Obama is the tool.

People don't know how true this is. If anyone has ever lived in a communist country, even a socialist country, they would immediately recognize freedoms that are absent. We are not remembering our history correctly. So much has been muddied out to make it look less horrible than it was, that our children have no clue what really happened and cannot recognize that history is repeating itself, something that should never happen.

Really, Eriktheblue, you WANT schools to monitor your children? With chips, no less. Gosh, however have we made it this far in life without all that technology? And those children of the past have turned out just fine. Truancy or not, that is a problem with parents, home life, and other issues that schools have no control over. Just tracking the kid doesn't make him any smarter or more likely to study or learn. It only invades their privacy and probably invokes more hostility than they already have.

If only parents WOULD stand up for their children in this manner, we'd be making a huge difference in their progress. But, we all know we have parents who don't care, cave in, or don't want to make waves, and will follow like the sheeples they are.

until they regulate your child there, too, and that will happen, as well. Just recently in Germany a child was taken by the gov't there because the parents were homeschooling. our gov't hates they don't have complete control over the children here....yet. They'll do whatever to get them trained right from the start.

"freedom freaks"? Fact, "freedom freaks" are not "operating out of fear", but out knowledge of historical facts, wisdom, a SENSIBLE DESIRE for FREEDOM and willingness to act on those attributes.
Are you an American? I can pretty much guarantee you are not a legal immigrant. You do not know much about our country's founding, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights or the Declaration of Independence. Where did you go to school and what is your age?

Forget the questions. You are either under 40 years old and went to a school that was already indoctrinating students or YOU missed a lot of school. Either way you, are not very well educated no matter how much "education" you may claim to have received or acquired.

erik - you hit it on the head. Home discipline. Had very few problems with "controlling" children before the 60s. Because there was home discipline. Now, because of the GOVERNMENT, people are afraid to discipline their children. I have no problem with monitoring children in school. I have a problem with MICROCHIPS. I see no reason whatsoever to microchip a child. If there are such terrible discipline problems in school, microchips will not help. Hopefully, the kids are smart enought to get around a microchip. Try to find the SOURCE of these so-called disciplinary problems. A band-aid (microchip) is not going to fix it.

As far as what I have done in my home - that is none of your business. My private life will stay private.

From what I have read we're ALL going to be chipped in the near future, school child to adult....HOW in the heck are we to avoid this? We are going to be tracked, watched & spied upon by O's people, that's my opinion....even our babies are going to be chipped before they leave the hospitals from being born...that's the what's coming. AND no I don't like it, but that's what's I've read.
